A Chinese export cylindrical tankard
painted en grisaille and gilt with a cartouche of a European lady seated sewing in an interior overlooking a river scene, within trailing lotus sprays and below a spearhed border -- 6.1/8in. (15.5cms) high, (restored); and a smaller cylindrical tankard painted in blue enamels and gilt with an urn and cover and scattered flowers -- 3¾in. (9.5cms) high, 18th century.
