A Chinese blue and white charger
with flattened everted rim, painted to the centre with a carp swimming above foaming waves, within a border of further fish amongst aquatic flowers and weeds, the rim with ruyi heads, the underside with sprays of lotus -- 21¼in. (54cm.) diam, Jiajing six-character mark to base, wood stand, (section of rim broken and rivetted).
