A Chinese buff pottery model of an equestrienne rider
the saddled horse standing four square on a rectangular base with its head turned slightly to the left, the matronly lady wearing long flowing robes with her hair pilled high on her head and hands held close to her chest, traces of red, white and black pigments remaining -- 12¼in. (31cm.) high, Tang Dynasty, (some restoration and old wear).
