A set of five Chinese export oblong octagonal armorial dishes
painted in black and green enamels with central coats of arms and the motto 'Tria Juncta in Uno' above 'Ich Dien' and 'Ora et Labora', all within borders of cell pattern and interlacing thistles, fruit and flower sprays -- 10¾in. (27.3cm.) wide, early 19th Century, (covers missing, old wear).

The first motto is that of the Knight of the Bath; the arms are those of Ramsay, Earl of Dalhousie. (5)
