A collection of five sandglasses,
probably 18th-Century, one with wood frame, the circular top and bottom with incised circles, the bottom inscribed on the underside with an indistinct signature and date, possibly 1727, the top and bottom united by turned columns -- 6in. (15.2cm.) high; a brass-framed sandglass -- 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high, filled with white sand; another similar but smaller brass-framed sandglass; another of similar construction with iron frame -- 4in. (10.2cm.) high; and another with brass frame (defective)
