A ROMAN CLEAR GLASS INSCRIBED 'VICTORY' BEAKER
1ST CENTURY A.D
Straight-sided with slightly everted rim, the body decorated in relief with a central register of Greek inscription reading "*ABE TH* NEIKHN (Take the Victory)", with a frieze of six victory wreaths above and below, each tied with flowing ribbons, divided by two vertical palm-fronds, the flat base with a single raised circle, minor repair
2.5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high
