Of simple form with looped handle, 4¾ in. (12.1 cm.) long; and three Roman pottery lamps each with relief decoration on the discus, a) bird eating from a branch, back stamped with maker's mark MNOVIVST, b) Mercury riding on a ram and c) Minerva making a sacrifice over a winged altar, back stamped PONPEIVS, all 2nd Century A.D., 4 in. (10.1 cm.) to 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) long (4)

Item 1: an ink inscription reads: " ... provenant d'une tombe punique á Kerkouane, Cap Bon, Tunisie, fouillèe, E. GOBERT.
Item 4: "Tunisie. Sousse 1888".
