A HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF APHRODITE, the standing goddess wearing an himation which she holds in her raised right hand, but which has fallen to reveal her naked body, to her left an Erote standing on a pilaster and holding up a double circular-plated mirror, both on integral rectangular base, white slip remaining -- 11½ in. (29.2 cm.) high, 3rd-2nd Century B.C.
