(5 cm.) high, both with opaque silvery gold iridescence, both 7th-9th Century A.D.; an Islamic pale aubergine glass flask, with globular body on low foot, the tapering neck with wide flaring mouth, the body and neck moulded with shallow vertical ribbing, multicoloured iridescence -- 3.3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) high, 9th-10th Century A.D.; and another aubergine glass flask, the spherical body with shallow diagonal ribbing, the conical neck with folded flange at base -- 6 in.
