A late 16th century Norwergian spoon
with a cast cherub mask and finial knop, the circular bowl and faceted stem with hatched border engraving, the back of the bow monogrammed "bs" and pricked "BF", traces of a makers mark, unascribed, probably circa 1585, (traces of gilding); together with another similar late 16th/early 17th century Norwegian spoon with a tapering, round section stem and an stylised leaf engraved in the bowl, makers mark only, probably by Rorich Giligen, Bergen, circa 1600 - 15cm long, 2oz.
