with four cups en suite, painted en grisaille and gilt with central sprays of stylised flowers and foliage -- the milk jug 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; an export teapot and cover, decorated en grisaille and gilt with birds in flight and perched on the branches of a flowering magnolia tree -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) high; a clobbered deep bowl and cover painted with peony flowers and leaves -- 4¾in. (12cm.) high; and four famille rose cups similarly decorated -- 3in. (7.5cm.) high, all 18th Century.
