of console format in Chinese Chippendale style with lacqer-work on a black ground. the centre with pull-out panel in front of speaker and drawer below, flanked by record compartments, now with radio receiver and Garrard single-speed autochanger -- 45in (114cm.) wide; and the original internal horn, tone-arm, Sonat soundbox, motor-board, turntable and winding handle (lacking motor)

A 1922 Algraphone price-list shows no fewer than sixty-eight models, all cabinets. There are only two console models in lacquer: 094 (120 gns.) and M153 (275 gns.).
