A 19th century Thomason type double action corkscrew
with turned bone handle, (no brush) the brass barrel with lightly matted bands, (no badge, solder mark remaining), wire helix, (slightly compressed); a Heeley's nickel-plated double lever corkscrew also marked "S.Buss & Sons. Manchester", top handle with scratched surface, wire helix; and a two-piece lever and screw, indistinctly marked, improved lever for drawing corks, some corrosion.
