The rectangular platform mounted with the figure of a bronze winged cherub standing on a ball, holding a torch in each hand with anthemion cat candle-holder, a circular shallow dish to the platform before him, with square section ink and pounce pots to each side cast with lanceolate leaves and acanthus, fitted with sliding canisters with openwork galleries and pierced covers, the ink pot with glass liner, on stepped base with plain ormolu gallery, with handle to the front issuing from a floret backplate, its roundel with reeded border cast with a central flowerhead, the front and front section of the gallery opening to a drawer, on ringed bun feet
