"I saw these wolves in Yellowstone National Park. They impressed me due to their intelligent appearance. Much controversy surrounds the re-introduction of the wolves to their former hunting territories, and as I write, the Mexican grey wolf is being returned to the area bordering Arizona/New Mexico border. Controversy aside, I wanted the viewer to see these magnificent animals in their natural environment as they were, prior to the intrusion of man into their territory".
