The circular engine-turned dial with Roman chapters, the bezel decorated with cornucopiae issuing a floral spray, within an anthemion case, the square base cast with a winged goddess and an eagle, flanked by reading classical figures, on a rectangular stepped base cast with a goddess and her pupils, on foliate cast bracket feet, the silk suspended movement with outside countwheel strike, bell missing, restorations
