The rectangular rounded top, simulated frieze drawer, sides and square tapering legs inlaid with flower marquetry, the double folding top opening to a marquetry inlaid playing surface and further to a gilt tooled red leather lined writing surface, with a ratchet reading stand, the raising interior fitted with nine drawers inlaid with further flower marquetry, on square tapering legs and ormolu caps, restorations
