With blade of hollow-triangular section, the forte etched and gilt on a blued ground (worn) with inscription Jean/Horst/Mr/Zwaartveger/a/Venlo and a coat of arms surrounded by inscription HONI.SOIT.QUI.MAL.Y.PENSE, the bronzed hilt with pierced oval guard, arms, knuckle-guard and faceted ovoidal pommel with wooden grip bound with twisted metal wire and ribbon (loose)
