two various dutch officer's sabres
Late 19th Century
One with slender curved blade inscribed YZERHOUWER and brass stirrup hilt including lion's head pommel and quillon finial, in original steel scabbard - 90cm. blade; The other with curved fullered blade etched at one face YZERHOUWER and the other face JF SEGERS/en ZOON/te BREDA, with iron hilt cast with flowers and foliage, with horn grip (wire binding missing), in original scabbard - 78cm. blade; And three other military swords, two with a scabbard - 63cm. to 82cm. blades (5)
