One with slightly curved blade with a broad fuller, etched and inlaid with gold on each face at the forte with a scene of the chase and Hermanus/Ter/Hagrijs/Mr/Zwaardveger/a/Amsterdam in between strapwork, the brass hilt cast with a downswept guard in the shape of an eagle, with horn grip, in leather scabbard with brass mount - 45cm. blade; The other with similar blade etched and gilded with a flower vase, a sunburst, a winged cherub, strapwork and inscription Je cherche/un Coeur/fidele, with hallmarked white metal hilt and mother-of-pearl grip, in leather scabbard - 53cm. blade (2)
