The sides intricately carved with a myriad of figures in pavilions and gardens, set between leaf tip and keyfret borders repeated on the pedestal foot, with the Eight Immortals carved in a band encircling the neck above and a band of foliate scroll below, the surmounted by a group of a female immortal with a deer standing to one side and an attendant standing beside a flower basket on the other
