The former decorated overall in straw marquetry depicting figures and floral bouquets and opening to reveal a fitted interior above a base drawer, the latter polychrome-decorated with a figure of Napoleon on the battlefield and opening to reveal a fitted interior, together with, an ebonized inkstand having a central handle and fitted for inwells above a base drawer
