The basket possibly silver, struck with pseudo hallmarks, the spoon Neresheimer, with English import marks for Chester, 1902
The ground of the oval basket with chased portrait busts of Marie-Louise and Napoleon within ovals, topped by spread-winged eagle, with openwork sides and two openwork sphinx tab handles, length over handles--16in. (40.6cm.); the spoon handle formed as Napoleon holding a telescope, with shallow spade form bowl--11in. (27.9cm.) long; together with, two further souvenir teaspoons (4)
