Boat shaped, the oval base raised on four openwork supports, the sides openwork with panels of diaperwork, twice centering cartouche, one engraved 1872; the other 1897, enclosed by rocaille and flowers, with decorated lobes between, the two dolphin head multi-scroll handles topped by putto, one holding a wreath, length over handles--16in. (40.6cm.), 29oz.
