Maker's mark of Robert Breading, Dublin, 1792
Octagonal vase form, with seven panels of pales, the front plain, with octagonal moldings, on waisted square pedestal base, on four fluted ball supports, the reeded tap with wood spade form handle, with two upswept scroll handles with foliate bifurcated upper join, the domed spool form cover with oval finial, the interior with pig compartment--24in. (60.9cm.) high, gross weight 117oz.
