Maker's mark of William Townsend, Dublin, circa 1765, the other Sheffield, 1861
The helmet form cream jug on three scroll and hoof supports, with applied girdle, chased with bold blossoms and foliage on matted ground, with waisted vacant cartouche below broad spout, with leaf capped multi-scroll handle, with wavy rim--4in. (10.8cm.) high; the shaped and molded circular taperstick, probably from an inkstand, with detachable nozzle, with multi scroll handle and with foliate scroll rims--3in. (8.3cm.) high, 10oz. (2)
