THREE PAIRS OF SIOUX BEADED HIDE MOCCASINS
The first, sinew sewn with white beaded band around the bottom edge of uppers enclosing green, blue and translucent red beads forming "cut-out" designs enclosing "filled-up" motifs, front panel composed of translucent purple beads bisected by white beaded band decorated with a column of blue and translucent red beads, cuffs trimmed in red cotton and decorated with two bands of translucent green beads enclosing square motifs in white and translucent red beads, bifurcated tabs beaded in similar colors with cross motifs and accented with tin cone suspensions and dyed red feathers; the second pair, stitched in yellow, two shades of blue and translucent red and orange beads against a white beaded ground, with "cut-out" patterns topped by "T" designs and stepped "V" motifs, cuffs and tongue trimmed in netted light blue beads; the third, stitched on front with a pyramid of green and yellow diamonds against a light blue ground, a white beaded band around the bottom edge of the upper enclosing "cut-out" motifs alternating with square patterns in red, yellow, blue and clear beads
