A large silver-gilt Tea Service
marked P. Ovchinnikov with Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1882
Comprising a shaped rectangular tray with scroll handles, a bomb tea-pot, a tapering cylindrical water-jug, a covered sugar bowl, a milk-jug, a circular conserve dish, an oval sweetmeat dish with swing handle, a tea-strainer, sugar shovel, tongs, lemon fork and twelve tea-spoons with partially twisted handles, together with six tea-glass holders, all chased and engraved with floral and foliate scrolls enclosing a circular cartouche, one engraved '1884', fully marked, in the original velvet-lined wooden box, the cover gilt-stamped in Russian 'Manufacturer of Silver and Gold Work Ovchinnikov' with Imperial warrant
