In the Louis XVI style, each on spreading circular base cast with a tied berried laurel band, rising to a tapering fluted stem headed by ram's masks holding a swag, the six acanthus-clad scroll branches and central standard surmounted by a flower vase issuing from an urn-form socket, the circular wax-pans with berried laurel rim, the faceted vase-shaped sockets with sleeves, marked with maker's mark and export marks on bases and under wax-pans, the bases also engraved CARTIER
