The catalogue raisonn of the artist, Onchi Koshiro hangashu/Prints of Onchi Koshiro (Tokyo: Keishosha, 1975), states that this is one impression of a limited edition of eight printed by Onchi. Oliver Statler in Modern Japanese Prints: An Art Reborn (Rutland, Vt. and Tokyo: Charles E. Tuttle Co., Inc., 1959) lists the limited edition as seven.
