Shown seated atop a waisted lotus base with right hand raised and holding a bead or "pearl" in his left hand, wearing priest's robes tied over the left shoulder with a cord looped through an octagonal ring, the face softly cast with benevolent expression, the back cast with the dated inscription naming the Wang Xing Convent and the sisters in charge, Fang Yue and Fang He, with traces of dark red, black and gold lacquer
