Carved in relief with a running horse turning its head to the left beneath a cherry tree, the saddle, hoofs and flowers inlaid in metal, partly stained, the reverse similarly decorated with cherry and rocks; fitted with a hako netsuke en suite signed Tomin and with kao decorated with chidori flying over waves, with a metal inlaid ribbon to the lid and a coral ojime
