Mira Schendel produced an enormous quantity of drawings. Between each individual piece and all of them taken as a whole, a revealing paradox emerges. Each drawing practically proves the impossibility of the next. The drawings carry similar elements, uncovering special relations between the line and its articulation with the paper in an extraordinary combination of discretion and intensity.
