Cindy Sherman re-interpreted this Limoges porcelain tea service after the original design commissioned by Madame de Pompadour (ne Poisson) in 1756 at the Manufacture Royale de Svres.

the complete set of 21 rose-colored porcelain tea pieces, screenprinted and handpainted in colors, 1990 , the plates and saucers stamp signed on the underside, all titled and numbered 8R/75 on the underside, published by Artes Magnus, with original grey boxes
Including: six plates, six cups and saucers, one teapot, one covered sugar bowl and one creamer. (21)
