Folding engraved frontispiece portrait of the author after Wenceslaus Hollar (clean tear at lower image), 11 engraved plates at end, including one with volvelle and 2 on recto and verso of same leaf, numerous engraved diagrams in text. (Some pale dampstaining at end.) Modern calf.

FIRST EDITION IN ENGLISH. Includes a short treatise at end entitled "A most easie way for the delineation of Plaine Sun-dials, only by Geometry," and is illustrated with a sun-dial volvelle and other engraved plates. Wing O-582; Norman 1622.
