A RARE IRON-RED AND ENAMEL-DECORATED FIVE-PIECE GARNITURE

Comprising a pair of gu-form beaker vases and three ovoid jars with covers; all reverse-decorated in iron red with a pattern of leafy foliate scroll, that on the jars descending vertically from the rim encircling the small inner mouth rim, and that on the vases arranged horizontally on the upper and lower sections above and below similar decoration executed in pale mauve and black outline reserved on the pale turquoise ground of the rounded central section, the three cylindrical covers decorated en suite below a knop finial, with a double circle in underglaze blue on each base
