TWO MEISSEN QUATREFOIL SMALL TUREENS AND COVER
Circa 1760, blue crossed swords marks
Each with ozier-moulded band below the gilt rim, painted in muted colours with deutsche Blumen, and with a replacement cover for one tureen, 6.3/8in. (16.2cm.) wide; together with two Meissen reticulated dessert plates, each center paintly painted with flowers reserved within a rocaille-moulded quatrefoil cartouche on the white ozier-moulded ground, the border with forget-me-nots at the joins of pierced trellis and with rocaille cartouches pierced and painted with bouquets within a pierced gilt line rim, 9in. (24.8cm.) diam. (4)
