A MEISSEN MODEL OF A DOVE (TROMMELTAUBE)
Circa 1735, blue crossed swords to the underside
Modelled to the right, its incised grey feathers enriched in green, blue and iron-red, with dark hood, wing and tail feather tips, perched astride a conical rockwork base, its brown claws with black and iron-red plumage
