The naturalistic case surmounted by the figures of an amorous couple, on plinth with spreading sides and rectangular base with scroll and stylised shield mounts, white enamel Roman dial (damages and restorations) with steel moon hands signed A. W. Mayer in Wien, the triple barrel movement with quarter strike on two hammers and trip to musical movement housed within a marquetry inlaid rosewood plinth, the front with floral inlay and date 1821, with 4in.
