The case with arched top centred by a roundel and with foliate moulding to the lunette, with fluted and baluster columns flanking the door, the moulded base on ringed toupie feet, the engraved and silvered Arabic dial with subsidiary rings in the arch for slow/fast and chime/silent, the triple barrel movement with quarter chimes on five orchestra gongs; and a German dial timepiece
