Arabic manuscript on vellum, each with 5ll. of large brown maghribi, vowelling in blue, green, yellow, maroon and red, with gold trefoils and curled-leaf motifs marking the verses, old marginal notes and scribblings, (some water damage and repairs), North Africa or Andalusia, 13th century - 17.5 x 17cm.; and three manuscripts, probably regarding magic and talismans, Arabic manuscript on paper, each with lines of heavy black script, marginal script, tables and diagrams, occasionally coloured with red and yellow, in identically stamped red, blue and brown bindings respectively, probably Arabia, one with date AH 1182/1768-9 AD - 22 x 13.5cm.
