Four leaves from a Qur'an,
Arabic manuscript on paper, each with 9ll. of script, the first, fourth and last in larger black muhaqqaq, the remainder in two narrower panels of smaller black naskh, black-outlined gold roundels with red dots between verses, marginal medallions in gold, red, green and black marking the divisions of text, one folio with gold, blue and black illumianted panels around the text, headings in red above and below, (some wear, edges lacking on some folios), all mounted, probably Ottoman Egypt, 16th century - 25 x 18cm.
