Two similar Safavid blue and white dishes
painted with four leaf shaped panels of lotus flowers and foliage within stylised borders, the exteriors with flowersprays and precious objects -- 8½in. (21.5cms) diam; and a Safavid blue and white plate decorated with retreats in a rocky river landscape -- 7¼in. (18.5cms) diam, 17th/18th century, (damages, old wear and restoration).
