An ornate multi-coloured two-piece stage suit of intricately patterned worsted, the single-breasted jacket with wide lapels, pocket flaps and cuffs of ruby velvet, the trousers similarly trimmed with ruby velvet waistband and pocket edging, the trouser legs with customised step-cut hem to fit over platform boots, the jacket signed inside on cream lining in black felt pen Bowie '91 -- made for David Bowie by the designer Freddy for stage use in circa 1973; accompanied by a corresponding colour photograph from the Aladdin Sane tour programme; a corresponding black and white photograph of Bowie on the Russell Harty Plus TV show, 1973; and a letter concerning the provenance (4)
