A one-piece stage suit of cream wool with high collar and flared trouser legs, the flared split cuffs trimmed with two rows of covered buttons, the front decorated with metal eyelets either side of slashed opening, labelled IC Costume Co. Hollywood, California -- made for Elvis for stage use in the early 1970s; accompanied by a corresponding black and white machine-print photograph of Presley on stage -- 10x6.3/8in. (25.4x16.2cm.); and a letter concerning the provenance from Charlie Hodge, Presley's stage director, stating that this was one of Elvis' favourite jumpsuits ...I suppose it was because it was one of his earliest and he was particularly fond of it..
