Album containing 157 cartes-de-visite, three hand-tinted, several identified in ink/pencil and the majority with photographers' credits on mounts or on verso, loosely inserted in pre-cut window mounts with embossed borders, the majority identified in pencil in a later hand on mounts, French diamond-pattern brown leather album with stamped fleurs-de-lys decorations, decorative gilt clasp, g.e., 4to.; with eight cartes and two cabinet cards loosely inserted.
