Illustrated with seventy-two albumen prints including one mounted as frontispiece, sizes approx. 3¾ x 3¼ in. to 4 x 6¼ in. or the reverse, printed titles and verses on mounts, printed text translated out of the original tongues; and with the former translations diligently compared and revised by His Majesty's Special Command., maps of Palestine, Canaan, Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean illustrating the Travels of St. Paul, printed list of The Names and Order of all the Books of the Old and New Testament with the Number of their Chapters and title page with tissue guard, dedicated in ink on front blank To Lady Theresa Talbot on her marriage, from Marcus Gericus Archbishop of Armagh with earnest wishes that its holy precepts may be the guides of her life, and that its glorious promises may be realized to her throughout Eternity.
