Lot Essay

Previously unpublished, this image is most likely part of the Red Army series aviation [Aviatziya] commissioned as a propaganda excercise by the Soviet Defence Office in the mid-1930s. Ironically, the planes seem to lack the power and might the Russian army was keen to propagate.
