Two inter-war photograph albums of ship portraits
The first containing approximately sixty black & white images of fourteen vessels in the Royal Navy: cruisers (including H.M.S. Ajax), destroyers and submarines; the second album of approximately sixty black & white photographs of twenty foreign naval and merchant vessels (including R.M.S. Otranto), the images --14 x 10½in. (35.5 x 26.5cm.) approx; together with a Vicker-Armstrong Ltd souvenir album of inter-war Brazillian commissions; a letter dated 1938 from Vickers-Armstrong returning all the photographs to one Captain Smith and a small collection of informal photographs of crews etc
