A well presented static display model of the 1908 APBA Gold Cup Harmsworth Trophy Winning Speed Boat Dixie II,
the hull with mahogany planked deck, with cleats, air intakes, engine-room hatch, exhaust stacks, aft cockpit with steering wheel, instruments and controls, aft hatch, rudder yoke and other details. The hull, finished in blue, 'gold' and white, with varnished deck, single-shaft three-bladed propeller and rudder, is mounted on two turned brass columns on inlaid display base with legend, with brass-bound glazed cover. Measurements overall -- 13½ x 51in. (34.3 x 129.5cm.)
